// WORKSHOP PROGRAMME 

We would like to invite you to the first edition of the series of workshops dedicated to the topic of parametric and algorithmic design in Rhinoceros/ Grasshopper. Grasshopper plugin is a graphical editor based on algorithimic logics that requires no previous programming skills. This intense course will introduce you to the basic knowledge on procedure automation, geometry definition with mathematical functions, developing parametric models and obtaining its fast modification, based on which we will focus on individual students’ projects of non standard tiling pattern. 

Detailed workshop programme includes: 

1. Introduction to GH: user interface, data matching, components, display modes and data types. 

2. Mathematics: numerical sequences, series, formulas, list manipulation. 

3. Points, curves, surfaces. 

4. Data Trees 

5. Surface division and its transformations.

// TARGET 

The workshop is dedicated to Bachelor or Master Students of Architecture/Design and young professionals interested in exploring digital design techniques. No prior experience with Grasshopper is required, although basic knowledge in 3d modelling would be an asset.
